NEWARK, NJ (October 23, 2012)—A new website was just formed that will now rank fighters from all over the world.

http://www.amateurworldrankings.com/ is now up and running where boxers can enter all pertinent information and they will be given a ranking.

The AWR is the new standard in the ranking of registered amateur fighters. Exclusively available to open-class fighters only, the AWR ranking system tracks your stats and ranks you against other open-division fighters around the world. Fighters registered and ranked within the AWR will have searchable information online in the AWR database with their record, national & world titles, home gym, coaches, and gym & coach contact info.

Being a member of the AWR makes you eligible to fight for AWR World Titles and get a first hand feel of what it’s like to be a professional boxer. AWR ranked fighters who fight for an AWR World Title will be featured as opening bouts on nationally televised professional boxing cards. AWR World Title contenders will get a taste of what it’s like to be a pro with paid travel to bouts, hotel rooms, and a serious crowd in-house as well as fans watching on TV at home.
