GFL PRESENTS “REAL FIGHTS” ON THE COMCAST NETWORK & COMCAST SPORTSNET

BOXING IS BACK FROM DOVER DOWNS HOTEL & CASINO AS “FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS” TAKES CENTER STAGE

ON COMCAST TCN AND CSN SPORTSNET BEGINNING FEBRUARY 25

New York, NY (February 21, 2013) – This weekend GFL and Comcast continue their weekly combat sports series, REAL FIGHTS, with top ranked boxing, as Dover Downs Hotel & Casino showcases another soon to be talked about boxing extravaganza with Friday Night Fights - From Dover Downsfeaturing a full slate of hotly contested matchups inside the ring anchored by a main event with the enigmatic Amir “Hardcore” Mansour (16-0) who takes on grizzled vet Dominique “Diamond” Alexander (23-15-1).  This will be Mansour’s first fight since being released from prison in July 2012.  Mansour had a bright future winning the NABO Heavyweight Title before he went away to serve time and now that he gets a second chance, every boxing fan and boxer in the heavyweight division is watching this bout intently to see if Mansour is still the blue chip prospect the experts pegged him as or if the time away from the ring is too much to overcome.

In the co-main event, Franklin “Yah Yah” Lawrence (18-2-2) takes on Mark “Oak Tree” Brown (15-4) in another solid bit of matchmaking.  Lawrence is in an unenviable position in the heavyweight division as he is feared by many and avoided by most.  Brown steps up to the challenge and if he is able to pull off the upset victory here, it could skyrocket his career to bigger paydays.  This is a must win for both fighters with a lot to prove and a lot to lose.
