ALLENTOWN, PA (February 7, 2013)—This Saturday night a big night of boxing will originate from the Rodeway Inn in Allentown, PA promoted Marshall Kauffman’s Kings Promotions.

In the main event, local favorite Keenan Collins will take on George Rivera in the eight round Jr. Middleweight main event. The bout is a rematch of a draw between the two that took place on April 27, 2012

An exciting co-feature has been added as undefeated Jr. Middleweight John Thompson takes on once-beaten Grayson Blake in a six round bout.

Collins (14-7-3, 9 KO’s) of York, PA is on a two fight unbeaten streak and has fought some of the top Jr. Middleweights such as former world title challengers Delvin Rodriguez and Gabriel Rosado as well as top contenders Jose Angel Rodriguez, Henry Crawford and Charles Whittaker

Rivera (13-7-1, 4 KO’s) of Charlottesville, VA has a similar resume to Collins as he has been in with top competition such as former world champion Manny Siaca as well as contenders Latif Mundy, & James Stevenson. Rivera has key wins over former Contender contestant Jonathan Reid and undefeated Jesse Nicklow.

Thompson (10-0, 3 KO’s) of Newark, NJ has been stepping up the competition with each fight. The twenty-three year old has quality wins over Jermond Bourgeois (TKO 2), John Mackey (UD) and his last bout when he scored a six round unanimous decision over Elie Augustama on December 1st at Madison Square Garden as part of the Austin Trout – Miguel Cotto championship fight card.

Blake (5-1, 2 KO’s) of State College, PA won his first five contests which includes a six round unanimous decision over then undefeated DeCarlo Perez.
