Xtreme Combat Promotions, New England’s premier MMA organization, returns to GFL on March 9 as it presents Randolph Rampage, a 17-bout pro/am card emanating from Vermont Technical College. XCP has been on a tear lately and this is their third event which will be broadcast worldwide on GFL.tv in 2013. This event features a stacked card with the top up and combing prospects inside the New England area with a special treat for local fans as it will be the Northeast Assassins VS Contenders Gym in a rivalry that is sure to heat up the night!

In the main event, New Hampshire native Matt Durling (5-0) battles Jay MacLean (4-2) in a bantamweight scrap. Durling is an undefeated fighter with KO power in both hands as well as a strong grappling game. Already a title holder in two other organizations, Durling is no stranger to main event, big fights. He will look to push the pace against MacLean and try and force MacLean into making a mistake that Durling can take advantage of to end the fight. MacLean is riding a 4-fight win streak and is also a champion in his own right, carrying a belt for another promotion. MacLean has shown an ability to grind out his opponents and in the process of a three round fight, break their wills. MacLean is methodical in his approach as he keeps coming forward looking to press the action. This will be a barnburner when these two 135 lb fighters step into the cage.

In other action, Nick Allowe fights Dan Ladd in a super heavyweight bout that is sure to put to the test the craftsmanship of the steel cage. Allowe will come into the fight north of 285 lb and Ladd will not be far behind. Allowe has decent cardio for a huge man and every punch he throws is with power. Ladd is almost a mirror image as he also likes to let his fists do the talking and go head hunting at every opportunity. Don’t blink during this fight as these two brahma bulls are going to do some damage.

You won’t find more BANG for your buck so order this thrilling event. Be sure to catch all of the action LIVE on March 9 as Xtreme Combat Promotions presents Randolph Rampage.
