“The Space in Westbury” showcased a great night of boxing including a USBO title fight in the main event. These gladiators threw down in the ring and showed a ton of heart and grit in the squared circle. The 10-bout card featured world class boxing in multiple weight classes including several devastating KOs. Witness East Coast boxing at its best as these fighters showcase their skills in the Empire State!

In the main event, for the USBO Welterweight Championship, Tommy Rainone (22-5-1) defeated Carl McNickles via unanimous decision to claim the title in a one-sided affair. Rainone was dominant throughout as he was consistently quicker to the punch and able to knock McNickles down twice in the fight. Rainone continues to impress with his boxing skill and becomes a real player in the welterweight division. Rainone showed an ability to score with punches while avoiding punishment from a very gritty and seasoned fighter in McNickles. Look for bigger things from Rainone in the near future.

In a light middleweight bout, rising Middleweight sensation, Irish Dennis Hogan (20-0-1) defeated Jose Miguel Rodriguez Berrio via disqualification in a weird end to the fight. It was a solid fight but Hogan was getting the better of the exchanges until Berrio made the critical foul and was disqualified for his actions.

Kenneth Sims Jr defeated Francisco Lopez via unanimous decision after 6 rounds. Sims Jr displayed great cardio as he was able to push the pace and make Lopez fight at pace he was unaccustomed with. Sims Jr had a pinpoint jab and was able to rack up points while keeping the hard hitting Lopez at bay.

In other action, Rich Neves scored a TKO win over Maurice Amaro in the third round, while WBO Lightweight Champion Amanda Serrano (22-1) defended her title and defeated Carlo Torres via TKO in the first.

“The Space in Westbury” was an explosive card and it’s a must see for any boxing fan. Be sure to catch all of the action from this event now on video on demand exclusively at
