GFL PRESENTS “GOLDEN GLOVES: PART 2” BEGINNING NOVEMBER 17

November 14, 2014

GFL, The Comcast Network and Comcast SportsNet continue their weekly combat sports series, REAL FIGHTS, with world class boxing as GFL presents another show stopper with Golden Gloves: Part 2, featuring a full lineup of up and coming boxers from around the New York area.

Tune in to watch rising blue chipper Michael Stoute take on the gritty Jaime Estrada in a 123 lb finals bout. Stoute is a very technical fighter and will be going up against the durable Estrada who brings an iron chin into the ring. Stoute made it to the finals with an unbelievable combination of pinpoint accuracy and superb defense. Estrada is a 2-time champion and looks for #3 against Stoute.

Cristina Cruz will also highlight a bout in the women’s 125 lb division as she takes on Jennifer Chieng. Cruz will be the hometown hero and have the crowd on her side as she hails from NYC, but don’t expect that to bother Chieng who is an outstanding boxer in her own right.

Brian Ceballo takes on Jose DeLaRosa in the finals of a 152 lb bout. Ceballo is a heavy handed fighter who brings KO power into the ring and can end the fight with a single punch. DeLaRosa is a proven veteran and a tough fight for anyone in the division. Expect fireworks.

The heavyweights will also be on display as Earl Newman takes on Ronnell McFadden. Both men are behemoths of the ring and their punching power is scary. If one of these men can connect flush, it will be lights out for the other one. Newman brings a huge left hook into the fight while McFadden can counter with a straight right hand.
