The 2015 Junior Canadian National Championships is in full swing with exciting fights, and TKOs to be had in several fights that turned into shootouts. The multi-day tournament has been a staple of Junior Canadian boxing for years and brings the whole country of Canada together to celebrate these young boxers fulfilling their dreams inside the squared circle. As the tournament gets further along, the championships are now in sight and these boxers step into the ring looking to prove that they deserve the title of Champion. The only way to see this great series or individual event is to order it at GFL.tv.

The fifth session of the series was highlighted by 12 grueling bouts. All were close as these young boxers came to fight and displayed both skill and determination in the squared circle.

In the main event, the heavy hitters were on display when in an 80+kg, David Aube of Quebec defeated Dawson Gosse of Newfoundland to win the Championship via TKO in the second round. Both of these young men were heavy hitters and landed some solid leather on one another in the early going. Aube continued his pace for the full fight and was teeing off on Gosse in the later rounds. Aube used his size and range to score with solid combos over and over again, as he wore down the gritty Gosse.

In the co-main event, Lexson Mathieu of Quebec defeated Blake Shea of Newfoundland and Labrador in an 80kg bout. The southpaw Mathieu proved difficult for Shea to hit and Mathieu was dominant in score with quick jabs and straight left hands while keeping out of the range of Shea who was looking for that one big punch that never landed. Mathieu showed both precision and power in this championship bout.
