ORDER EVENT ––My-Bloody-Valentines/2769

Off the Chain (OTC) returned on GFL with “Off the Chain 7: My Bloody Valentine” from the Clear Channel Metroplex in Little Rock, Arkansas. This event brought together all of the top fighters in Arkansas and the surrounding area as OTC puts on another stacked pro/am card for the rabid fans of the area.

In the main event, Dawond Pickney (6-2) defeated Will Walker (4-3) via TKO in the second round after Pickney landed a picture perfect knee to the midsection of Walker that dropped him to the canvas. Pickney followed up with punches on the ground and the ref waved it off as Walker was still hurting from the initial knee that dropped him and could not defend the ground and pound by Pickney. In the first round, Walker used some nice wrestling to get the fight to the mat where he controlled the action from the top, and pressed Pickney up against the cage to stall him out. Walker clearly won the first round with his wrestling, but Pickney proved to be dangerous at every turn as he was looking for the KO and when the opportunity presented itself, was throwing striking with bad intentions that finally connected with Walker in the second.

In the co-main event, TJ Brown (3-1) defeated Deartie Tucker III (1-6) via TKO in the first round. Both fighters came out at each other firing off punches and leg kicks and Brown snuck in a left hook that connected flush and dropped Tucker III. Brown pounced on Tucker III and finished the fight with a barrage of punches on the ground. It was a quick win for Brown who defeated a dangerous opponent in Tucker III.

The OTC Middleweight Championship was on the line when Rudy McGlothlin (6-5) defeated Chauncy Foxworth (6-5) via rear naked choke in the first round. Foxworth came out the aggressor throwing combos and leg kicks with McGlothlin looking to counter with high kicks. Foxworth found his range, barely missing with a spinning elbow but then connecting with a right cross as the two clinched against the cage. McGlothlin got a nice double leg takedown and put Foxworth on his back. Foxworth got back to his feet and looked like he went for a leg sweep but in doing so, turned his back to McGlothlin and got choked out. McGlothlin didn’t hesitate as he attacked the back of Foxworth and brought the fight back to the mat with the fight ending submission.
