Sparta Combat League returned to with “A VS M Washington”, a stacked MMA card from the Xfinity Arena in Everett, Washington. SCL took their show on the road, away from the familiar Rockies of Colorado and headed up to the Pacific Northwest to present their brand of high octane cage fights to the people of Washington. This event was full speed from bell to bell.

In the main event, Strikeforce vet Cory Devela (10-6) defeated Jared Torgeson (11-13) via rear naked choke in the third round.

In the co-main event, Richard Foster (3-2) defeated Paul Hoffman (0-1) via TKO in the second round.

In other fights, Taki Uliulakepa (2-1) defeated Adam Walkemeyer (2-1) via Unanimous Decision.

Fernando Heredia (1-0) defeated Chris Aparicio (0-2) via TKO in Rd 1

Shane Friesz (1-0) defeated Rob Cann (4-3) via Unanimous Decision.

Josh Ratliff defeated Isaiah Sanders via rear naked choke. Ratliff got the quick takedown then moved to the back of Sanders where he sunk in the choke and got the tapout.

Sparta Combat League brought down the house once again as they have quickly grabbed a chokehold on Mountain West MMA and now expanded their reach to the Pacific Northwest. This show was another homerun for the rising regional promotion. Order “A VS M Washington”, and watch anytime on video on demand only on GFL.
