Hard hitting MMA action returns as Dead Serious Fighting Championship presents “Dead Serious 14” on March 7 from the Rahway Rec Center in Rahway, New Jersey live on the GFL Combat Sports Network. Dead Serious Fighting Championship is planning to blow the roof off with this mega card. Be there for every punch, kicks and submission.

In the main event, in a rematch from 2013, for the Dead Serious Welterweight Title, Champion Travis Foster (6-0) battles Andy Segovia (4-2). In the initial outing, Foster was victorious via rear naked choke in the second round. Foster is a great wrestler and racks up multiple takedowns throughout his fights. But he does more than that, as once he is on the ground he is constantly looking for submissions to end the fight, particularly from top control with kimuras and straight armbars, even guillotines. Foster is very hard to get down himself and once the fight hits the mat, his opponents have had to be weary of getting steam rolled on the ground. Segovia gets a chance to avenge a loss, something every fighter dreams about and this is his opportunity and better yet, a title will also be on the line. Segovia is almost a mirror of Foster in fighting styles as he likes to control the pace and action of a fight with his wrestling and ground control. Segovia prides himself on finishing fights strong and his cardio is sure to be on point when he tackles the toughest test of his career.

In the co-main event, for the Dead Serious Bantamweight Title, Champion O’Brayan Ramirez (4-0) fights Giorgi Kudukhashvili (3-0). Ramirez won the title in December 2014 after a hard fought fight. Ramirez remains undefeated early in his career in large part due to his punching prowess. Ramirez is a heavy handed fighter who can change the flow of a fight with one punch. Ramirez will be happy to trade punches with Kudukhashvili and if that happens fans will be in a barnburner. Kudukhashvili is a well-rounded MMA fighter with solid submissions and very technical striking. Kudukhashvili has won via tapout and TKO so he presents a problem both in the standup and on the ground. Kudukhashvili likes to come forward with an aggressive style and loves to get his opponent into a dog fight.
Multiple titles will be on the line as these rising amateurs throw down in New Jersey. Don’t miss these high quality title fights and the rest of the card as there are sure to be some devastating KOs and submissions inside the cage.
