DC lightweight Ty Barnett made a successful return after an almost two-year absence and scored an eighth-round TKO over DC veteran Daniel “The Prophet” Attah.  Barnett  dropped Attah  to the canvas with a right early in the eighth round and finished Attah with a right later in the round as the referee stopped the fight at 2:46 of the round.

In the co-feature, Mykal “The Professor” Fox of Forestville, MD won a six-round unanimous decision over veteran Claudinei Lacerda of Sombrio, Brazil in a super lightweight bout.  Fox used his height and reach advantage together with great foot movement to keep Lacerda at bay throughout the contest.

Also on the card, Laurel, MD middleweight Demond “D’ Best At It” Nicholson made short work of Jose Valderrama of Manati, Puerto Rico when Manati could not beat the count at 1:46 of the round when a crushing left hand dropped Valderrama to one knee.

Greenbelt, MD cruiserweight “The Vanilla Gorilla” Sam Crossed drew a nice portion of the sellout crowd as fans came to see the boxer who was knocked out by Mike Tyson in a DC-area Super Bowl TV commercial.  Crossed (pronounced Cross-ed) won his bout by four-round unanimous decision over Martez “I Am Legend” Williamson of Akron, OH.
