Ismael is an undefeated (9-0, 4 KOs) up and coming jr middleweight boxer.  Ismael is Junior middleweight Garcia who has scored a first-round knockout over Tommy Ayers, of Cincinnati, OH, on May 8 at the 2300 Arena in South Philadelphia. Previously, he had out-pointed Jersey rival Alex Sanchez over six rounds at Bally’s Atlantic City. Earlier in 2014, Garcia (8-0-1, 4 K0s) scored his biggest win at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, a six-round decision over previously unbeaten lefty DuShane Crooks, of Brooklyn, NY. The 28-year-old Garcia was born in Pahokee, FL, and he moved to Sacramento, CA; Springfield, MA, and Rock Hill, SC, before returning to Springfield and settling in Vineland, NJ, in 2009. The majority of his amateur career (21-4 record) was in South Carolina. Garcia turned pro in 2010 and he is managed and trained by Hassan Hameed-El. He returns Friday, Oct. 2, at the 2300 Arena against Yusmani Abreu, of Cuba.
