Warrior Nation Fight Series 36 took place last night at the 2016 Arnold Sports Festival, and a total of 13 bouts went down as part of the card at the Arnold’s MMA Festival.  There were 12 finishes and 3 by KO.

Travis Davis (1-0) was back in the cage in his first pro fight, and he finished the fight exactly how he wanted to, forcing Ricco Ralston (2-4) to tap after a vicious elbow dazed him early in the first round.

Speaking of what’s next for Davis, Chad Kelly (1-2) picked up a vicious TKO win, stopping Kentucky’s Jon Cook (4-7) after a barrage of elbows that opened up a nasty cut and spewed blood all over the cage. Kelly started off his pro career with a couple of split decision losses to tough fighters, but he seems to have put it all together under the tutelage of Adam DiSabatao and others like the strength coaches at Westside Barbell.

After a pair of TKO wins to kick off his career, Kyle McClain (2-1) was stopped due to injury in the second round of his bout against Kaleb Raymond (5-4). McClain seemed to have the upper hand for much of the fight, using take downs to control where the fight went despite getting caught with a couple of big shots. Raymond has now won two in a row and said he plans to return to the heavyweight division for his next fight.
