Canada’s longest running promotion Rumble in the Cage  held its 52nd event this weekend from Lethbridge, Alberta.  It was an exciting night of fights with 9 of the 13 fights ending with finishes, 8 by TKO.   In the main event Lee Mein squared off with Derek Daku in a Heavyweight battle of the promoters. In his 2 amateur wins before turning pro Daku won by TKO both times in the first round. This time it was Mein, the 50 something promoter who finished Daku by TKO strikes in the First Round. A great win for Lee Mein.

In another exciting pro bout Maged Hammo defeated Brent Harvie by TKO (Spinning Back Fist and Punches). If you haven’t see this KO its well worth the price of admission to check it out as you will not see that type of finish often.

The Co-main event featured Derek Boyle vs  Taki Uluilakepa in a Welterweight. Both fighters have spent a lot of time in the cage with 43 fights between them.  Each fighter is coming of a decision loss and both needed a win to get back on track. Both fighters have had wining and losing streaks during his career – in this one Uluilakepa outlasted Boyle.
