Full Contact Contender (FCC) 17: Rob ‘C4’ Sinclair v Charlie Leary – CLICK HERE TO WATCH LIVE! has rated this FCC match up as the top regional fight to watch this weekend and its live on GFL.Tv.

Rob ‘C4’ Sinclair (13-3) returns to the ring after a 15 month layoff as he challenges current FCC Lightweight Champion Charlie Leary (12-7) in what is guaranteed to be an explosive contest.

Sinclair has been absent from competition spanning back to June 2015. However, ‘C4’ brings a wealth of experience to the cage. The former BAMMA Lightweight Champion has faced a who’s who of UKMMA talent and was signed to Bellator before a string of horrendous injuries sidelined him. Sinclair thanked Leary for taking the fight, though he let Leary know that it was also a big mistake, stating, “I want to thank Charlie for taking the fight. He could of ducked it and maybe taken an easier fight!! Balls to the kid, he’s kept me out of retirement, he’s given me a fire to look to train, enjoy training.. I know what I’m capable of.. And I’ll be showing it come fight night, 24th September is a bad night for Charlie Leary!!

Reigning and defending FCC Lightweight Champion Charlie Leary is coming off an impressive title defense over Mick Bowman and is looking for his fifth straight win. Leary is understandably excited for this fight: “this is huge in my mind! Rob Sinclair has been the number one guy in Europe since I turned pro; and FCC are right up there as one of the top three promotions in the UK so having their title is a great achievement! But, defending it means everything to me and is a massive step in my career especially given my opponent!”

For UKMMA fans this contest is guaranteed to deliver as neither man will take a backwards step. Couple that with Sinclair’s desire to prove his time isn’t up while Leary wants to show it is his time now!

GFL.Tv is showcasing 10 promotions this weekend. Check out the action. Until next week, keep punchin’.
