Arizona’s rising promotion returns as Crank It Up Promotions presents “Duel for Domination 6” emanating from the Arizona Event Center in Mesa, Arizona on December 21.   MMA fans, this stacked card features the top up and coming prospects inside the Grand Canyon State and the surrounding states and is scheduled for a whopping 20+ fights!  “Duel for Domination 6” promises to deliver with action packed fights as all of these warriors are looking to make a name for themselves not only in their home territory but to a worldwide audience on GFL.  Tune in for some of the Southwest’s Best.

In one co-main event, Fernie Garcia (3-2) battles Carlos Castillo (1-3).  Garcia is a tough Texan who will be fighting for Duel for Domination for the second time.  In DFD 3, Garcia won via decision showing that his cardio was top notch as he went three hard rounds and dominated the cage action.  Garcia also is a solid grappler and loves to use his ground skills to wear down his opponents.  He can also finish most bantamweights with his chokes as he is active on the mat.  Castillo is looking for the biggest win of his career and comes into the fight with something to prove.  Castillo is constantly working on his all-around game and improving his striking and wrestling.  Look for a new and improved Castillo on December 21 as he is determined to steal the show.

In a second co-main event, Bobby Tinney (6-1) fights Justin Rascon (2-0).  Tinney is an experienced fighter and currently riding a 4-fight winning streak.  All of Tinney’s 7 fights have ended before the final bell, which makes Tinney one of the most exciting fighters in the region.  Look for Tinney to come out like a Tasmanian devil and push the pace right from the first bell.  Tinney is an expert submission specialist and if the fight hits the mat, he will be looking to make Rascon tap.  Rascon is undefeated but has much less experience than Tinney.  Rascon might have the element of surprise though in the fight, as he has not needed to show all of his skills in the cage.  He is known for his armbars, so it could be a chess match on the ground or it could turn into a wild brawl if it stays on the feet.

In a third co-main event, Dante Patrick (4-1) fights Brandon Jones (1-1).  Patrick earned his stripes on the Illinois MMA circuit and comes to the desert for only his second fight.  Patrick is well-rounded and can end fights with a KO or submission.  He brings a violent style of fighting into the cage and loves to fight with a high risk-high reward style that has paid dividends for him so far.  Jones looks to move his record above .500 with a solid win against a gritty opponent.  Patrick has the physical skills and will be the naturally bigger fighter in the cage, so expect him to utilize his strength advantage and try and wear down Patrick over three rounds.

You won’t find more BANG for your buck with over 20 fights scheduled! Be sure to catch all of the action LIVE on December 21 as Crank It Up Promotions presents “Duel for Domination 6” from the hot Arizona desert only on pay-per-view exclusively at GFL.tv.
