Redemption promised the IZW World a ton of action. It promised a crazy five-way Impact Scramble, a battle between the tag team champions, and one man standing tall holding the IZW Championship. It delivered bigger than anyone could have expected and in ways that no one could have imagined!

The night started with a huge contest between former partners as Big Business Damon Windsor would face his former partner and the man he stabbed in the back at the Impact Chamber, The Image of Fear Kevin Morgan. Morgan wanted nothing more than to get his hands on Windsor but Big Business wanted to bury the hatchet and remain friends. Morgan quickly let him know that would not be an option. He slapped away the offered handshake and leveled Windsor with a big clothesline. Windsor battled back, targeting the left arm of Morgan which had been less than 100% for weeks. But even only one good arm Morgan is more dangerous than most men with two. The Image of Fear continued to show remarkable resolve as Windsor never lost focus on his point of attack. Morgan seemed to be all out of steam as Windsor delivered his patented elbows on the corner, he sauntered to the center of the ring and removed his elbow pad, looking to deliver the knockout blow to his former partner but it was not to be. Morgan sprinted out and speared Windsor, hoisted him up and drove him down with the Oklahoma Stampede and then sealed his fate with the Moment of Fear.

Morgan told the IZW World that he wouldn’t stop until he got to Johnny Z and that Windsor would only be a speed bump on that journey. After this match it would be hard for anyone to disagree with the man who now holds both IZW Tag Team Championships.

The controversy with the Tag Team Championships was finally over but it was just beginning with the Impact Division Championship. It was announced that Angel Camacho had suffered an injury and would not be able to make the Impact Scramble. So Co-Commissioner Mark Wilson made the call that the winner of the Bobby Starr/Jordan Jacobs match would be inserted into the scramble and get a shot at the Impact Division Championship.

Both Starr and Jacobs seemed especially driven with an Impact Division Championship opportunity on the line. Starr was more aggressive and violent than we had ever seen him before. But Jacobs has been better than ever as of late. Since his series of matches with Johnny Z and almost being IZW Champion, Jacobs has been really hitting his stride. Jordan battled back from a big spinebuster and fought out of the single leg Olympus Crab. Starr continued to blast Jacobs with vicious shots and ran full speed at him in the corner but Jacobs caught him with a buckle buster, scaled the ropes and used the Light Switch to turn Starr’s lights out. Starr was left to lick his wounds while Jacobs went on to ready himself for his shot to once again become Impact Division Champion.

From one Bull to another we would next see The Bronze Bull taking on The Attorney Jeff Wolfenbarger. Wolfenbarger would be accompanied to the ring by former IZW superstar and commissioner Kool-Aid. Wolfenbarger tried to have a nice birthday celebration for Kool-Aid earlier but it was cut short by The Bronze Bull who verbally ran down both men. Bull thinks that he is far and away superior to both men but a fast and furious flurry of offense from Wolfenbarger sent Bull scrambling to the outside. Wolfenbarger didn’t let up and cornered Bull and ran in with a pair of splashes but Bull stopped the second one and threw him over his head with a deadly belly-to-belly suplex. Not one to let an advantage go, Bull threw Wolfenbarger outside and started laying on the punishment. Jeff had another trick up or two up his sleeve though. He dropped Bull neck first on the rope and hit a springboard leg drop. Jeff went for the Final Impact but Bull reversed with a northern lights suplex that swayed things back his way. Bull picked up Wolfenbarger and drilled him with Greetings from Mt Olympus. But Bull refused to make the cover, he wanted to rub it in. He picked Wolfenbarger up again and spit at Kool-Aid. Kool-Aid jumped on the apron and returned the favor, blinding Bull and allowing Wolfenbarger to slip into a sunset flip and get the win over the Bronze Bull. Wolfenbarger swore to be the thorn in the side of Johnny Z and Impact Inc and has certainly been just that by beating the crown jewel of Johnny Z’s followers.

Next up was the 5-Man Impact Scramble for the Impact Division Championship. Sheepy O’Brien, O’Malley and Randy Price would challenge for Drake Gallows’ Impact Division Championship as scheduled but via his win over Bobby Starr earlier, Jordan Jacobs would be inserted into the madness of the Scramble. This match was a masterpiece in chaos. From the very start all five men went full steam at each other and while alliances may have existed at the beginning, it quickly became every man for his self. O’Malley looked to take out four birds with one stone as he fought all four of his competitors into one corner, ran across the ring and delivered an Irish Car Bomb to everyone involved. This would grant him a pin on O’Brien to become the interim Impact Division Champion. His opponents eventually subdued O’Malley and Gallows was ablt to score with an emo-killer on O’Brien onto two chairs to get a pinfall of his own. As O’Malley and O’Brien brawled on the outside, Jacobs dove from the top rope with a flipping senton onto both men. Not to be outdone, Price climbed up and as all three men reached their feet, he dove off with a corkscrew moonsault. The four men were in a heap on the outside but that left one man unaccounted for, the Urban Legend himself Drake Gallows. Gallows earned his nickname from the death defying things he has done to rule the Impact Division. The IZW World let out a collective gasp as they saw him start to climb a giant ladder that took him all the way to the roof of the Impact Arena. He shrugged his shoulders and dove off. But the dice rolled snake-eyes for Gallows and as he dove the ladder shifted underneath him and he fell short, narrowly missing the ring apron but crashing to the floor below. Randy Price looked to capitalize on the chaos but was caught with O’Brien’s Trouble and O’Brien became the current champion. The two Irishmen O’Malley and O’Brien brawled on the outside while Price tried to hit the splash from the past on Jacobs with the seconds ticking away. Jacobs got out of the way and hit the Light Switch and covered Price. Referee George Knight’s hand hit the mat for the 3 with less than a second left in the match.

Two Irishmen consumed each other in violence, the man who laughs at danger rolled the dice and lost and the man who wasn’t even originally in the match utilized every last second of the match to once again proudly hold the Impact Division Championship.

After the match Price was dejected and coming down to share his thoughts was his former mentor the returning Coach Gary Tool. The IZW World expected Tool to take Price’s head off after Price cost him the IZW Championship. But instead Tool said the blame for what happened to him lied on the IZW World. He laid into the fans in the Impact Arena and said that he was proud of Price and his actions and that he reminded Tool of what Old School really was. What does this mean for the future of Randy Price and/or The possibly reunited Old School Suckas?

Next up was an old fashioned Street Fight between Shawn McHale and Mark Wilson. The two Co-Commissioners started with some classic wrestling and it evolved into an old fashioned brawl. McHale tried to keep it clean but that wasn’t in Wilson’s playbook at all. Wilson targeted the leg of McHale, punishing it with chop blocks and kicks. Wilson looked to put McHale away with a perfectly executed figure four leglock but McHale fought his way out. When that didn’t work Wilson went into his bag of dirty tricks. He pulled out a handful of powder to blind McHale but the #1 knocked it right back into Wilson’s face. When Wilson regained his vision he was staring right at McHale who flipped him the double #1 and hit a Stunner to get the win. The #1 proved to the IZW World that he was exactly that as he put the Butterscotch Stallion out to pasture.

There was only one score left to be settled. The IZW Championship would be on the line as man who was screwed out of the IZW Championship at the Impact Chamber Jermaine Johnson would look to dethrone the Natural Born Leader. Few people in IZW know each other as well as Johnson and Z. They have fought alongside each other and against each other time after time. While Johnson is perhaps the most decorated competitor in IZW the feat he has never accomplished in his amazing career is a one-on-one pinfall victory over Johnny Z. Johnson came in extremely confident and certainly gained control quickly but Z is a master of the mind games would not be shaken by the early advantage and turned things into his favor. Neither man kept a strong advantage for the majority of this modern classic. The two men know each other so well that every move and offensive strategy was met with a counter attack. When frustration got the best of him, Z decided the best defense was to kick Johnson in the lower region not once but twice. The two men battled to the outside where Johnson took over and bashed Z all around the Impact Arena. As he tried to return Z to ringside, Z backdropped him onto the concrete around the ring area. Enraged by the beating he had been on the end of, Z drilled Johnson with a series of punches and vicious chops. Z got even more malicious and tried to piledrive Johnson on the outside but Johnson reversed. Johnson fired up and tossed Z inside where he connected with his kicks in the corner and lifted Z up in the Power & Strength suplex but Z landed on his feet and hit the Final Impact that almost retained his championship. The two men traded an Energy Shot and a Float-Over DDT but each only got a two count. Johnson closed in on the IZW Championship when he hit Power & Strength from the top rope and mounted the 2nd rope for the ES2 but Z caught him with a boot to the face before he could connect. Z perhaps saw this as his last chance, he measured Johnson and went for the Big Bott in the Corner but Johnson caught him and dropped him with a powerbomb. The Hype Section came to a fever pitch as Johnson again mounted the ropes to set up for the ES2 and thatâ??s when all hell broke loose. Sensing their leader was in imminent danger, Impact Inc dashed into the ring and pounded Johnson. Even though they were banned from ringside the rules of a No Holds Barred match prevented a disqualification. In a moment of Deja-vu Damon Windsor Chokeslammed Johnson and presented him like a sacrifice to Z. But before he could take advantage Shawn McHale hit the ramp followed by Kevin Morgan, Jeff Wolfenbarger, and Jordan Jacobs. They cleared the ring of Impact Inc and left the two men in the match to fight it out. But the damage had been done, Jermaine Johnson struggled to even get to his feet and Z revved up the Big Boot when he stopped in his tracks at the appearance of Double D! D stood at the top of the ramp, brandishing a steel chair and Z stood in the ring as his jaw quivered and the color left his face. Z knew his day of reckoning for his misdeeds against D had come. D hit the ring and Z bailed out. Z continued to try to get a grasp on the situation and Double D readied the chair and blasted Jermaine Johnson! The IZW World was in shock. Z climbed into the ring and in the most shocking and disturbing images ever in IZW Johnny Z lovingly embraced Double D. Z celebrated yet another of his former enemies becoming a follower and then CRACK!!! Double D drilled Z with a chair to the skull too! D stared coldly at both men then retrieved the IZW Championship from ringside. He then simply walked out of the IZW Arena leaving fans with more questions than answers. We got what we were promised, one man stood tall with the IZW Championship but it was neither of the men in the match. It was Double D, the man who never lost the IZW Championship to begin with. A silent but definitive statement made by Double D as he has seemingly reclaimed ownership of the IZW title he never lost.

“Coronation:  A Decade of Impact” has finally arrived.  It is not only the biggest iPPV of the year for IZW, but the biggest event of all time for the Lawton, Oklahoma based organization.   On March 15, this year’s “Coronation” celebrates ten years of wrestling excellence for the #1 Independent promotion in the country.  Every IZW title is at stake and with so much riding on the line, you can’t afford to miss this event if you are a wrestling fan.  Order now!

In the main event, IZW Champion Johnny Z puts his title on the line in an Impact Chamber Match against nine other men.  Double D, Kevin Morgan, Copycat, Damon Windsor, Striker, O’Malley, Randy Price, Brad Michaels and Soto Miyagi.  This will be Z’s toughest test to date in his one-year title reign as Z will be the #1 entrant into the Chamber.  Z’s arch nemesis Double D is set for #2.  After that, wrestlers will trickle in until the Impact Chamber is full of 10 of the top wrestlers on the Independent scene.  This match is unpredictable and every wrestler is a real threat to win the title.  Expect the unexpected as you can never predict what will happen when these men go to war.

Also scheduled, IZW Tag Team Champions What Wrestling Should Be (Jermaine Johnson & Jordan Jacobs) take on Team Bull (Bronze Bull & Brass Bull) in a TLC Match.  If WWSB is victorious, TB has to disband as a team forever.  All four of these men have been to hell and back with one another in their tenure with IZW and this bout promises to up the ante once again.  On paper, this match looks to be an early candidate for MOTY.  Don’t blink as you are likely to see something you have never witness in a wrestling ring before.

In a match that is sure to bring the pain, IZW Impact Division Champion Drake Gallows takes on Angel Camacho in a Dog Collar Chain Match.  Camacho and Gallows have been on a collision course since they stepped foot in IZW.  This bout promises to add another notch to their ongoing feud.  Both men are unpredictable in the ring and adding a dog collar chain into the mix is going to only add to the level of violence that these men have a flair for.  Who is tougher, Gallows or Camacho?  On March 15 the world is going to find out.

IZW Queen Miss Diss Lexia defends her title in a Triple Threat Crown on a Pole Match against IZW rookie Paige Turner and Angel Blue.  A Pole Match adds a new element to these three women’s ongoing feud.  MDL is a free spirit and her creativity in the ring will have room to work with the added device.  This will be the biggest match in Turner’s young career and the only question is will she rise to the occasion or wilt under the pressure?  Blue is the wildcard as she is always innovating something new and you can bet she will pull out all the stops in her quest to become the new Queen of IZW.  On the biggest stage of the year, which woman will rise to the top and claim her destiny?

IZW Co-owner Jeff Wolfenbarger battles Mark Wilson in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.  Both men have the heart of a lion and the fight of a pit bull.  There’s no telling what is going to happen as these men battle throughout the Impact Arena.  Fans are sure to get an up close and personal experience with this match.  Both men have a hatred for one another that you rarely come across in today’s world.  On March 15, they are going to settle their differences by any means necessary.

No other wrestling organization on the Independent landscape carves out as much new content as IZW.  Developed and cultivated in the Sooner State, IZW is second to none.  Be there for every bump, bruise and jaw-dropping moment all of which have made IZW recognized around the world.

“IZW Adrenaline” returns this Saturday March 1and with “Coronation:  A Decade of Impact” less than three weeks away, all bets are off.  IZW Champion “The Natural Born Leader & Savior of Wrestling” Johnny Z (@NBL_JohnnyZ) made an impact at the expense of his greatest rival Double D (@IZWDoubleD) last week when Z crushed an already wounded D in the face with a Big Boot in the corner.  What awaits the wrestlers that step into the squared circle this week?

Johnny Z picked apart Double D like a vulture after D was in a hellacious main event match with “The Old School Sucka” Randy Price (@RandyPrice_OSS) in which Price pile drove D full force down on the canvas.  Z will be the first entrant into the Impact Chamber on March 1 and D is number 2.  Z has always been able to slant the odds in his favor and that reality continues with his most recent actions against D.  Z is stacking the odds once again as the biggest match of his career comes closer and closer.  What will Z have in store this week?  Right now, the biggest threat to Z’s IZW Title reign looks to be Price who dispatched of Michaels in the parking lot last week and took out Double D in the center of the ring during the main event.

“The Image of Fear” Kevin Morgan (@TheImageofFear) is at his fiercest ever as he brutalized Soto Miyagi last week and looks to be the most ardent disciple of Johnny Z.  Will Morgan try to pulverize yet another member of the Impact Chamber Match and increase Z’s odds that much more?  If Morgan is in the house you can bet pain and destruction are not far behind.

Team Bull [The Bronze Bull (@BronzeBull_AN) & “The Brass Bull” Bobby Starr (@thegods_bs)] and What Wrestling Should Be [“Lights Out” Jordan Jacobs (@JacobsLightsOut) & “Larger Than Life” Jermaine Johnson (@JermaineAboutME)] continued their blood feud as last week Team Bull retaliated for the beating they received two weeks ago by WWSB where TB was destroyed with steel chairs. TB shattered WWSB into pieces as they used two iron ladders to bend, fold and break Johnson and Jacobs nearly in half!  WWSB and TB are headed for a dangerous collision course, a TLC Match at “Coronation”, but if things continue at this rate, neither team will make it to March 15.

Look for more stars to be out at the Impact Arena as IZW Impact Division Champion “The Urban Legend” Drake Gallows (@DG_urbanlegend) now has three Camachos to watch out for as “Big, Bad & Sexy” Angel Camacho (@A_Camacho0986) and Roberto Camacho now have recruited yet another cousin, Vinny Camacho.  The Camachos are looking for a fight and if no one steps forward to accept their challenge they are just going to start one with whoever is closest.

“Bad” Brad Michaels (@OldSchool_Brad), “Big Business” Damon Windsor (@DamonWindsor) and “Worst in the World” Copycat (@CopycatWrestler) are chomping at the bit to get back in the ring.  Look for these three men to come out of the gates on fire as they are looking to push back against Johnny Z, Impact Elite, Randy Price and more!

Get your shot of adrenaline with “IZW Adrenaline” every Saturday night at 8pm E/7pm C on GFL.tv.  Better yet, if you are near Southwestern Oklahoma, nothing beats watching IZW live from the Impact Arena located at 1009 SW F Ave. in Lawton, Oklahoma 73501.

IZW Adrenaline February 22 Review

The February 22 episode of “IZW Adrenaline” added yet another layer of intrigue to the impending   “Coronation: A Decade of Impact” on March 15.  The drama was raised by several top notch matches as every wrestler that competed in the Impact Arena brought their A-game.

The action was fast and furious from the get-go as The Bronze Bull (@BronzeBull_AN) locked horns with Roberto Camacho right out of the gates.  Bull and Camacho traded headlocks with Bull being the more technical, but Camacho was all too happy to cut corners and hit a couple cheap shots followed by getting Bull in an arm in choke before Bull powered out.  A spinebuster by Bull made Camacho scream like a teenage girl.  Bull followed up with a Greetings From Mt. Olympus displaying his god-like strength.  Camacho was down and as the ref counted the pinfall, IZW Tag Team Champion “Larger Than Life” Jermaine Johnson (@JermaineAboutME) rushed to the ring to attack Bull.  The ref called for the bell as the match ended in disqualification, as Johnson pounded away on Bull.  “Lights Out” Jordan Jacobs (@JacobsLightsOut) added to the melee by bringing a ladder into the ring and just as WWSB was about to destroy Bull with two ladders, “The Brass Bull” Bobby Starr (@thegods_bs) made the save and together he and Bull turned the tables and destroyed both Jacobs and Johnson with multiple ladder shots.  When it was over, WWSB was writhing around in pain as the ladders where turned into twisted pieces of metal.

After the chaos between WWSB and TB and when all the debris was swept up out of the ring, Madam Co-Commissioner Erica (Lady_Of_Impact) and IZW Champion “The Natural Born Leader & Savior of Wrestling” Johnny Z (@NBL_JohnnyZ) squared off in the ring with “The Captain of the Force” Double D (@IZWDoubleD).  Z and D got into a huge standoff and then “The Image of Fear” Kevin Morgan (@TheImageofFear) turned the odds in Z’s favor by storming down to the ring and engaging in a 2 on 1 beat down of Double D.  Soto Miyagi, with chair in hand, rushed to the ring to aide D and chased Impact Elite away.  Erica made a match on the spot for Morgan versus Miyagi in a battle of David and Goliath proportions.

Morgan hammered away at Miyagi with crushing punches and looked for a gut wrench suplex but Miyagi escaped and connected with a series of leg kicks that chopped Morgan down a notch before dislodging Miyagi’s teeth fillings with a clothesline.  Miyagi and Morgan traded karate chops and open handed chops with Morgan getting the better of the exchanges.  Morgan hit a back breaker seconds later but Miyagi followed with a flying knee that put Morgan on his backside.  Morgan only seemed to get more intense, if that is possible, as he rose to his feet and tossed Miyagi across the entire ring like a sack of potatoes.  Morgan tossed Miyagi across the ring for a second time as his penchant for inflicting pain was never higher.  Miyagi had one final ounce of fight left in him and went for his finisher, the Sorana, but didn’t hit the move 100% which enabled Morgan to rise to his feet and give Miyagi the Moment of Fear ending Miyagi’s night.

“The Brass Bull” Bobby Starr returned to the ring for his match against “Big, Bad & Sexy” Angel Camacho (A_Camacho0986).  Starr started quickly by cornering Camacho and unleashing 10 punches with an additional head butt that put Camacho on Easy Street.  Later, Camacho dropped Starr with a standing belly bump and followed up with a spinning side slam for a two count.  Camacho had several near falls after that, which came from a variety of maneuvers including suplexes, leg drops and clotheslines, but Starr was able to get a shoulder up each and every time showing off an undeniable fighting spirit.  Camacho missed with a big splash and Starr followed up with three straight head butts.  Camacho has a hard head too and was able to shake the cobwebs out and connect with his modified crucifix power bomb putting Starr’s shoulders to the mat for a three-count.

Up next, the third and final member of the first ever class of the IZW Hall of Impact was revealed as “The Widowmaker” Angel Williams was announced.  Williams, a former IZW Champion joins, Tommy Revell and “Mr. Saturday Night” Michael Barry in the inaugural class that will be inducted on March 15 at “Coronation” in a special ceremony.

An already hobbled and injured What Wrestling Should Be squared off against the KC Wolves [Luke Langley (@LukeLangleyMD) & Graham Bell (@GrahamBellWPE)] in tag team action.  Jordan Jacobs got the short end of the stick as the KC Wolves tagged in and out keeping a fresh man on Jacobs in the beginning.  Bell connected with kicks while Langley added a suplex into the mix.  The Wolves added a drop toe hold-drop kick combo which only made Jacobs see more stars.  Jacobs was able to tag in Johnson after connecting with a running double knees in the corner to Langley.  Johnson suplexed Langley onto the rope then hit a baseball slide kick to Langley’s head.  WWSB tagged in and out and always kept a man on the attack as Langley was taking barrage after barrage from Jacobs and Johnson.  Both teams showed an excellent ring awareness when they had an opponent hurt as the team work from both groups was top notch.  Finally, Langley was able to free himself from the clutches of WWSB long enough to tag in a fresh Bell who was chomping at the bit.  Bell dropped both members of WWSB with an assortment of kicks and knees.  Jacobs fell out of the ring and Bell added a double knees to the chest of Johnson followed by a top rope stomp from Langley to pick up the 1-2-3.  It was a huge win for the KC Wolves as it shows they are for real in the IZW Tag Team division by beating the current champs.

After the match, the KC Wolves were attacked by the Camacho cousins (Angel and Roberto) and a third man who turned out to be another Camacho!  Vinny Camacho was revealed to be the newest member of the Camachos.  These three Camachos made immediate enemies with the KC Wolves and after the beat down, Roberto issued an open challenge to anyone in the IZW locker room.  You can expect to see a lot more from the Camachos.  Stay tuned.

In the main event, Double D saw action against “The Old School Sucka” Randy Price (@RandyPrice_OSS).  Double D started off with some nice chain wrestling and got Price belly down on the mat where D was in total control with a side headlock.  Price returned fire when he got to his feet as he took apart D hold by hold and locked on an arm ringer.  D and Price went back and forth with D looking to keep Price on the mat usually with arm drags, while Price wanted to fight back to his feet so he could use his Old School ways.  D responded with a spinning heel kick and two drop kicks as each man upped his game as the match went on.   D added several chops including a Force chop, but Price was determined out of pure spite to not let his shoulders stay on the mat.  Later, Price had D in agony after several well placed knees and a low blow.  D regrouped and hit a springboard knee and springboard tornado DDT in successive moves.  D readied for the high crossbody when Johnny Z’s music hit, distracting D on the top rope.  Price capitalized on the situation by crotching D on the turnbuckle and giving D a piledriver in the center of the ring for the pin!  It was a devastating win by Price who has never looked better since turning over this new leaf. Fans might not like it, but Price is at the top of his game.  After the match, Z came down to the ring to pick at the scraps and hit Double D flush with a Big Boot in the corner.  D took two finishers back to back and as of press time, it is still unknown how his health is.

“IZW Adrenaline” returns this Saturday February 15 to GFL.tv with another pedal-to-the-metal episode of hard-hitting wrestling.  All bets are off as IZW barrels towards “Coronation:  A Decade of Impact” on March 15.  The stakes continue to be raised as the Impact Chamber looms in the not too distant future.

The main event of the evening will be a tag team match featuring IZW Champion “The Natural Born Leader & Savior of Wrestling” Johnny Z (@NBL_JohnnyZ) & “The Image of Fear” Kevin Morgan (@TheImageofFear) versus “The Captain of the Force” Double D (@IZWDoubleD) & “Big Business” Damon Windsor (@DamonWindsor).  All four men are entered in the 10-man Impact Chamber Match on March 15 so this bout could be a microcosm of what awaits them at “Coronation”.  Z is at his most dangerous when his back is against the wall and squaring off against 9 other wrestlers in just about a month’s time has Z going to the extreme to exterminate his competition.  Last week, Z caved in the faces of both Double D and Windsor with a Big Boot in the corner, and will look to take them out of the equation permanently with the help of Morgan in this week’s tag team match.  But going against the rested and recovered duo of D and Windsor will not be an easy task.  All four men have history with each other and this bout will add another brick to their house of pain.

“Lights Out” Jordan Jacobs (@JacobsLightsOut) takes on “The Brass Bull” Bobby Starr (@thegods_bs) in singles competition.  These two grapplers have had some epic bouts in the past and this match promises to be the same as both men set the table for their clash at “Coronation” where WWSB will battle Team Bull in a TLC Match!  Expect both men to look for any advantage that they can use in this match and more importantly carry over to the TLC Match on March 15.

In a parallel bout, “Larger Than Life” Jermaine Johnson (@JermaineAboutME) battles The Bronze Bull (@BronzeBull_AN).  Johnson and Bull have feuded with each other for years and have taken decades off of each other’s lives with the brutality that has taken place inside the squared circle.  Very few wrestlers bring out the best in one another like Johnson and Bull.  Look for that same pattern of violence to continue in this match.

In another hotly contested match, “The Forgotten Champion” Copycat (@CopycatWrestler) squares off against O’Malley (@IZWHateMachine).  O’Malley and Striker have quickly established themselves as a force in the tag team division as The Brothers Righteous.  It will be Copycat’s chain wrestling and solid base against O’Malley’s size, strength and understated athleticism.  Don’t blink when these two lock up as you will see some great wrestling.

In other news, Miss Diss Lexia (@missdiss_lexia) regained the Queen’s Crown last week after defeating Madam Co-Commissioner Erica (@Lady_Of_Impact) with a slick backslide pin.  The pin came out of nowhere, especially against a wrestler with an amateur wrestling pedigree of Erica.  Expect Erica to have a thing or two to say about the outcome of that match.

Co-Commissioner Shawn McHale will also be in the house as well.  The Impact Chamber still has two open spots that need to be filled.  Will McHale let the IZW World know who the final entrants are?  It’s a Decade of Impact folks!  Don’t miss the final build up over the next few weeks where the rest of the card will be finalized and where history will be made!

All of the talking, plotting and underhanded maneuvering is over.  “Violent Valentine”, the first IZW iPPV of 2014 is at the doorstep.  Legacies will be cemented in the annuals of wrestling history as every IZW title is on the line and each wrestler will be looking to dish out heaping amounts of pain and agony against their opponent.

For the IZW Title, IZW Champion “The Natural Born Leader & Savior of Wrestling” Johnny Z takes on #1 Contender “Bad” Brad Michaels.  Z has held the title for the better part of a year now and has conquered every foe in his path.  But Michaels is a different kind of opponent.  He is cut from the same rotten cloth as the Champion Johnny Z.  Whereas Z has been used to battling foes with a good conscious like Damon Windsor, Copycat and Double D, Michaels has shown the ability to end careers in the ring and enjoy every second of it.  Michaels will not hesitate to lift Z up for the Hall of Fame Piledriver, he will also use every dirty trick in the book if it will get him the IZW title.  This is a case of two rotten apples squaring off against one another.  Michaels earned the #1 contender spot fair and square but that won’t be enough.  His date with destiny is signed and sealed.  Will Michaels be able to deliver and win the IZW Title for the first time in his storied career or will Johnny Z add another notch in his belt and make Michaels just another victim?

In a Lumberjack Strap Match, “The Captain of the Force” Double D battles “The Image of Fear” Kevin Morgan.  D has been fighting tooth and nail to get back into the title picture and he will get that chance at “Coronation” as he has already been booked in the Impact Chamber Match that will feature 10 IZW Superstars competing for the IZW Title.  But before Double D can make it to March 15, he has to survive Morgan in a Lumberjack Strap Match.  Morgan has vowed to end Double D’s career so that he can never wrestle again or be a thorn in the side of Impact Elite.  Morgan got the festivities started early when he peeled the skin off D’s back on the January 25 Edition of “IZW Adrenaline” as D was helpless and handcuffed to the rope as Morgan throttled him over and over again with a leather strap.  Giving up close to a foot in height and over 100 lb in weight, it will take a miracle for Double D to come out of the match able to stand on his own two feet.  A victory against Morgan in this situation is almost too much to ask.

IZW Queen Miss Diss Lexia defends her title against the always imposing and dangerous Erica.  Erica lost the Queen’s Crown in 2013 and has been waiting for this opportunity to get her hands back on MDL when all the chips are down once again.  MDL has proven herself a worthy and deserving champion as she has held the Crown with honor from day one.  But this will be MDL’s biggest challenge as she will be facing an irate Erica who has dropped multiple pinfalls to MDL in the last several months.  Erica is known for her fantastic amateur wrestling pedigree while MDL can flatten any opponent with a variety of suplexes.  Both women’s strong points are going to come into play and it will be the wrestler with the bigger heart that will be able to raise a shoulder at the last second or hit a move no one is expecting that will lead to the 1-2-3.

IZW Tag Team Champions, What Wrestling Should Be (“Larger Than Life” Jermaine Johnson and “Lights Out” Jordan Jacobs” battle the KC Wolves (Graham Bell & Luke Langley).  The KC Wolves are almost a mirror image of WWSB when it comes to athleticism and wrestling.  These four contestants have promised to bring their A game and it’s highly likely that this bout will steal the show. Both teams have excellent aerial ability combined with solid mat wrestling.  And the cardio of each wrestler is second to none so expect a furious pace from bell to bell.  But what is going to be the deciding factor?  Will it be WWSB’s experience advantage or will the Wolves rise to the occasion and dethrone the best tag team in the business?  Johnson is wrestling at an all-time high, as Jacobs steps into the ring for the first time in months after being fully healed from a shoulder injury.  The KC Wolves are a well-oiled machine at this point and have their sights focused on the gold.  With everything so even, look for the third member of WWSB, Mark Wilson, to make his presence known.  The KC Wolves have to already be counting on that and they should have several contingency plans put in place if and when Wilson tries to get involved.

Impact Division Champion Angel Camacho battles “The Urban Legend” Drake Gallows in an Impact Rules Match in what is sure to be a jaw-dropping bout.  Camacho and Gallows were neck and neck last year for Newcomer of the Year, an award which Gallows won. But the real prize for these two is the IZW Impact Division Championship.  Both men are unpredictable in the ring, but the edge goes to Gallows as he is far and away the craziest competitor in IZW.  Camacho brings a plethora of suplexes mixed with underrated athleticism that allows him to fire off precision-like kicks in to the bout.  Both men are hungry and determined to keep their momentum from 2013 rolling, but there will be only one man that walks out of the Impact Arena as the Impact Division Champion.  The fact that this is an Impact Rules Match where anything goes has to be an advantage for the wild man Gallows.  But will his overzealousness during the match be his downfall?  Don’t blink!

And just added by Co-Commissioner Shawn McHale, it will be the newly created tag team The Brothers Righteous (Striker & O’Malley) taking on “Big Business” Damon Windsor & Copycat.  TBR have gone over the deep end mentally, but they believe they have the high moral ground and are going to try and make examples out of Windsor and Copycat.  Windsor and Copycat have been wrestling as singles for some time and the story of this match will be how well they work together as a team because Striker and O’Malley are going to bring it.

Don’t miss “Violent Valentine”, a ruthless event where passions will run high and bodies will be broken below.  Nobody is safe from the impending doom as the hottest promotion on the circuit goes for broke and leaves everything on the line!  Witness all of the wrestling, high flying, feuds and rivalries in HD on GFL.tv on February 1!

Better yet, if you are near Southwestern Oklahoma, nothing beats watching IZW live from the Impact Arena located at 1009 SW F Ave. in Lawton, Oklahoma 73501.  No other wrestling organization on the Independent landscape carves out as much new content as IZW. “IZW Adrenaline” returned on January 18 with its weekly, 2-hour, ongoing series on GFL.tv with another bone breaking show featuring the top pro wrestlers in the territory.  Plenty of bodies were shattered as feuds hit a boiling point as “Violent Valentine” on February 1 is right around the corner.

The Lights Out Lounge kicked off the show as Jordan Jacobs (@JacobsLightsOut) interviewed the KC Wolves [Luke Langley (@LukeLangleyMD) & Graham Bell (@GrahamBellWPE)].  Jacobs wondered aloud what the KC Wolves even did to deserve a chance at facing WWSB at “Violent Valentine” for the tag team gold.  “Larger Than Life” Jermaine Johnson (@JermaineAboutME) entered the ring to try and blindside the Wolves but when it was all over, Johnson was on the wrong end of a Manhattan Project (Death Valley Driver onto the knee) by Langley, while Bell gave Jacobs a Knuillotine (knee drop bulldog).  The Wolves made a statement with how they dropped WWSB in quick order in this impromptu brawl.

Langley stayed in the ring as he took on IZW Impact Division Champion “Big, Bad & Sexy” Angel Camacho (A_Camacho0986) in the first bout.  Langley showed off his speed advantage as he dropped Camacho with several well placed kicks but Camacho closed the distance and was able to use his strength advantage as well as his ornery side as he butt bumped and choked Langley at one point, followed by a release German suplex that sapped out most of Langley’s strength and cardio advantage.  Langley retaliated with a tornado DDT from the top rope that put Camacho on Easy Street.  Langley added an enziguri kick and drop kick from the top rope for a two count.  But the Champion would not be denied on this night as he hit Langley with a modified crucifix powerbomb followed by a BBS Splash (big, bad, sexy splash) as Camacho picked up the pinfall.

“Big Business” Damon Windsor (@DamonWindsor) took on “The Butterscotch Stallion” Mark Wilson (@bsstallion) next.  Wilson was no match for Windsor on this night as Impact Elite was banned from ringside.  Wilson used every trick he could think of, at one point even dropping Windsor with a pair of brass knuckles, and locking on a figure four, but Windsor fought out of the hold with ease and choke slammed Wilson into next week to pick up the violent win.

Queen’s Crown Champion Miss Diss Lexia (@missdiss_lexia) took on the returning Paige Turner next in a non-title bout.  MDL won the bout with her modified Death Valley Driver as she took out Turner.  Turner showed a lot of improvement from the last time she was in an IZW ring, but MDL was on a different level as every time Turner got a bit of momentum, the Champion was there to cut her off at the legs, either with a hard clothesline, suplex or drop kick.  MDL now sets her sights on defending her title against her arch nemesis Erica (@Lady_Of_Impact) at “Violent Valentine”.

“The Urban Legend” Drake Gallows (@DG_urbanlegend) took on Graham Bell in a fast paced match.  Both men showed off their wrestling pedigree as Gallows body slammed Bell and used his power to ground Bell for a time, but Bell responded with accurate kicks that opened Gallows up for Bell to utilize even more strikes including a leg lariat.  Gallows responded with a suplex and kept Bell on the mat with a side choke and hit another suplex that bent Bell in half.  Bell would not stay down as he retaliated with more kicks as both men could hardly stand at this point.  Both men showed they had spent hours breaking down wrestling video and were ready for anything the other dished out as at one point Bell went for Sliced Bread #2 only to be caught by Gallows who tried to destroy Bell with an Emo Killer, when Bell in turn slid out of the move and kicked Gallows in the face.  Both Gallows and Bell continued to match each other move for move.  As the bout wore on, the veteran Gallows got stronger and stronger.  Gallows missed with a moonsault but recovered enough to hit an Emo Killer for the finish moments later.

Gallows and Angel Camacho got an early start on their upcoming title match as they attacked one another in the backstage area.  Both men took nasty spills on the hard concrete and it only shows that once they lockup for their Impact Rules Match that they will do whatever is necessary, even if it means injuring themselves to destroy one another.

In the main event, IZW Champion “The Natural Born Leader & Savior of Wrestling” Johnny Z (@NBL_JohnnyZ) & IZW Tag Champion Jermaine Johnson teamed up to take on “Bad” Brad Michaels (@OldSchool_Brad) & Double D (@IZWDoubleD).  Z and Michaels locked up first giving the fans a preview of their World Title match on February 1.  Michaels hit the bigger Z with two hip tosses, a body slam and drop kick that had the Champion reeling.   Z took a moment outside of the ring to compose himself before being sling-shot back into the squared circle by Michaels who continued to put a beating on Johnny Z.  A double back drop by Z and Johnson changed the tone of the match in a hurry.  Johnson and Double D both tagged in for their respective teams and D lit Johnson’s chest up with knife edge chops followed by a head scissors that Johnson somehow found a way to use the momentum to bounce off his head and onto his feet in one move!  It was the move of the year so far in any wrestling organization, but it was short lived as D buried another chop deep into Johnson’s chest and sent him crashing to the mat.  Z tagged back in and he and Johnson hit a huge back body drop on Double D.  Z sunk in a cravat hold that twisted D’s neck into a 90 degree angle.  Finally, D broke free, hit knees in the corner but got caught with a sitdown power bomb by Z that rattled the foundation of the Impact Arena.  Johnson tagged back in as did Michaels and Michaels connected with a dragon screw.  The move hobbled Johnson and allowed Michaels to land punches and kicks at will.  Johnson crawled on his knees and tagged in Z and they added a double suplex before Johnson exited the ring.  Michaels recovered enough to hit a swinging neck breaker but Z responded with a DDT.  A rear chin lock sapped even more strength out of Michaels.  Johnson was back in and added a seven-second stalled out suplex into the mix that almost put Michaels down for the pinfall.  Z tagged back in and proceeded to humiliate Michaels even more with taunts and boots to the head.  Z missed with a Big Boot in the corner, but Michaels was still unable to tag in the much fresher Double D.  The match deteriorated into a wild melee at this point with all four men in the ring and Michaels and D adding drop kicks and back body drops into the mix that crumbled Impact Elite.  IE scuttled out of the ring only to be flattened once again with a double dose of flying cross bodies from Michaels and D.  Michaels and Z moved back into the ring where Z ducked a clothesline attempt and connected with a floatover DDT.  But with Z distracted about the outside the ring happenings between Johnson and D, it gave Michaels time to recover enough and hit a super kick for the pinfall in a crazy end to a thrilling main event.

As the nights get colder and colder, the Impact Arena is on fire as the best Independent wrestling organization from the central states continues to burn the candle at both ends of the stick.  “IZW Adrenaline” returns this Saturday, January 18 live on GFL.tv with another bone breaking show featuring the top pro wrestlers in the territory.

In the main event, “The Natural Born Leader & Savior of Wrestling” Johnny Z (@NBL_JohnnyZ) & “Larger Than Life” Jermaine Johnson (@JermaineAboutME) team up to take on “Bad” Brad Michaels (@OldSchool_Brad) & Double D (@IZWDoubleD) in a heated tag team match.  Last week Michaels and Johnson had a fantastic match in which Michaels won but was battered after the match by Johnny Z.  Double D rushed to the ring to even the odds as Impact Elite dodged a bullet and exited the ring.  In the aftermath, IZW Officer Randy Price (@RandyPrice_OSS) booked the tag match for this week where a multitude of issues will be sorted out with fists, kicks, body slams and more.  Michaels faces Z at “Violent Valentine” on February 1 for the IZW Title, an opportunity that he got because he defeated Double D two times in a row last year.  Now Michaels and D have to find a way to work together if they are going to thwart the onslaught of Impact Elite.  For Z and Johnson, it’s just another day at the office for Impact Elite as they look to cripple Michaels’ chances of defeating Z when all the chips are on the table while also softening up D who will face “The Image of Fear” Kevin Morgan (@TheImageofFear) in a Lumberjack Strap Match at VV.

Also on the docket for this week, “Big Business” Damon Windsor (@DamonWindsor) goes one on one against “The Butterscotch Stallion” Mark Wilson (@bsstallion).  Last week, Windsor found himself standing side by side with Copycat (@CopycatWrestler) as the two clashed with the newly formed team of “The Resurrecter of Reality” Striker (@strikerokb) and O’Malley (@IZWHateMachine).  Windsor needs to keep  his head on a swivel while he is in the ring with Wilson because you can bet that Striker and/or O’Malley will be looking to finish the job they started last week as they attacked Windsor two on one.  If that happens, will Copycat be in the house to even the odds once again?

Will the new #1 Contenders in the tag team division, the KC Wolves [Luke Langley (@LukeLangleyMD) & Graham Bell(@GrahamBellWPE)], show up to compete?  IZW Tag Team Champions WWSB has completely disregarded the Wolves’ chances of dethroning them on February 1, but that overconfidence could come back to haunt WWSB as the Wolves have a unique style that can match WWSB in athleticism and team work.  Langley and Bell have steadily climbed up the ladder and flown under the radar.  All of that is about to change as they are less than three weeks away from the opportunity of a lifetime.

Speaking of titles, it has been announced that “The Urban Legend” Drake Gallows (@DG_urbanlegend) will get his automatic rematch to regain the IZW Impact Division Championship at “Violent Valentine” when he faces new Champion “Big, Bad & Sexy” Angel Camacho (A_Camacho0986).  Gallows and Camacho where neck and neck in voting for the Newcomer of the Year in 2013 and both men have bright futures in IZW.  But there can be only one.  Camacho has recently been spotted with his cousin, Roberto Camacho, who assisted on the win by Angel to claim the title in the first place.  Will Gallows come to the Impact Arena prepared to square off against both Camachos?  Will Gallows enlist the help of an associate to help him offset the unfair balance or will he put his chin down and come out swinging all by himself?  Tune in this Saturday to find out.

IZW Adrenaline January 11 Review

January 13, 2014 by · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Press Release, Wrestling News

The hard-hitting, rough and rugged style of wrestling that IZW is famous for was on display with the January 11 episode of “IZW Adrenaline”.  With less than a month until “Violent Valentine” every wrestler is already at their breaking point and looking to take out the competition by any means necessary.

“Big Business” Damon Windsor (@DamonWindsor) kicked off the show by calling out “The Resurrecter of Reality” Striker (@strikerokb).  Windsor was hot after last week when he defeated Striker in a one on one match, and then was ambushed after the fact by Striker.  Striker strolled down to the ring and actually apologized to Windsor and the IZW World and even offered a handshake to Windsor.  Windsor didn’t accept, as he instead wailed away on Striker until being dropped with a low blow.  Striker continued to kick Windsor until “The Hate Machine” O’Malley showed up.  O’Malley added to Windsor’s misery by obliterating him with kicks and punches as Striker added a Stroke and O’Malley sealed the deal with a senton leaving Windsor completely shattered.  Striker and O’Malley seemed to be on the same page with their beliefs on today’s popular culture and degrading value system and made Windsor example #1 of what they are willing to do to change the tide.

In the first bout of the night, “The Image of Fear” Kevin Morgan (@TheImageofFear) took on IZW newcomer Spike.  Spike was at a severe size disadvantage against Morgan but that didn’t stop him from attacking with reckless abandon.  For a majority of the bout, Spike dished out punches and kicks that connected in high volume but it took only a single forearm or haymaker from Morgan to put Spike down.  Morgan continued to pound away at Spike, but to the smaller man’s credit, he would not give up even getting Morgan down to the mat with a drop kick to the knees and another time with a drop kick from the top rope.  Morgan quit playing around at this point and delivered two back to back devastating moves to Spike, a power bomb and Moment of Fear that put Spikes light’s out for good.  Morgan then retrieved a leather strap he had brought into the ring and beat Spike like a rented mule.  It was a tough debut for Spike, who had to be helped to the back.

What Wrestling Should Be [“Larger Than Life” Jermaine Johnson (@JermaineAboutME), “Lights Out” Jordan Jacobs (@JacobsLightsOut) & “The Butterscotch Stallion” Mark Wilson (@bsstallion)] entered the ring next.  Johnson rambled on about Team Bull being officially dead and then belittled WWSB’s future opponents at “Violent Valentine”, the KC Wolves, before moving on to Wilson’s budding feud with IZW Co-Owner Jeff Wolfenbarger.  Jacobs chimed in and declared that WWSB’s #1 concern was looking out for Wilson in any potential match with Wolfenbarger.  Co-Commissioner Shawn McHale showed up on the ImpactTron and let WWSB know that The Convict’s parole had been revoked because of his brutal, un-checked display of violence against Bobby Starr last week, causing Johnson and Jacobs to scurry out of the ring, leaving Wilson all alone.  Wilson continued to egg on Wolfenbarger to come down to the ring and show his face.  Finally, Wolfenbarger made an appearance.  As the two stood toe to toe in the ring, Wolfenbarger put Wilson in his place and told him to go back up to the broadcast booth and that there would be no match between the two.  As soon as Wolfenbarger turned his back, he was hit from behind with a chair from Wilson.  Wilson added two shots to the head that busted Wolfenbarger wide open.  There was blood everywhere as Wolfenbarger needed help getting back to his feet.

Striker returned to the ring to battle Soto Miyagi.  Striker made quick work of Miyagi as he manhandled Miyagi from the get-go.  Miyagi’s martial arts background was no match for Striker’s American grappling base as Striker broke Miyagi down piece by piece, and almost unmasked Miyagi adding insult to injury.  Finally, Striker ducked a high kick and connected with The Stroke ending Miyagi’s night.

Double D (@IZWDoubleD) took on O’Malley next and landed a series of knees to the face of O’Malley almost immediately.  O’Malley nearly broke D’s neck after D attempted a crossbody but was caught and dropped down with a modified suplex-Death Valley Driver type of move that saw D’s head and neck get crushed under the weight of O’Malley’s side.  O’Malley added a power bomb in the corner followed by a belly to belly suplex as D was on his last leg.  Whatever Double D attempted, O’Malley was right there with an answer as O’Malley seemed to be rejuvenated by his new partnership with Striker.  Eventually Double D’s cardio training paid off and he was able to get O’Malley dazed.  Double D went for a high crossbody but missed and hit the ref instead.  D attempted another crossbody on O’Malley but was pushed off the top rope by Striker.   This let O’Malley recover enough to land a senton on D in the middle of the ring.  O’Malley picked up the win as he and Striker continued their destruction of IZW all-stars on this night.

Backstage, IZW Champion “The Natural Born Leader” Johnny Z (@NBL_JohnnyZ) was holding court with Impact Elite.  Z wasn’t concerned in the slightest about The Convict’s absence and set WWSB straight on their priorities.  Z made it clear that all Jermaine Johnson needed to concern himself with was his match later in the night against Brad Michaels and continuing to be a follower of Z.  Z showed no signs of worrying about “Violent Valentine” on February 1, The Convict, or anything else and already had his eyes focused on the Impact Chamber at “Coronation”.

In the ring, an injured “Big Business” Damon Windsor took on “The Forgotten Champion” Copycat (@CopycatWrestler).  Windsor’s usual strength advantage was severely curtailed in this bout but he did manage to suplex Copycat in a move that did damage to both men.  In a smart bit of tactical wrestling, Copycat hit a neck breaker followed by a submission move meant to stretch Windsor’s already damaged midsection.  After a quick sidewalk slam by Windsor, Copycat took the match back to the mat where he locked on a bear hug as Windsor’s hollered in pain.  Later, Copycat looked to finish Windsor off with a flying elbow drop from the top rope, but missed and instead crashed into the mat then took a running clothesline from the big man.  Eventually, Copycat battled back as he was still the fresher of the two and hit a Thesz Press, Face Mob knee drop but missed with an Asai moonsault.  It didn’t deter Copycat as he connected with a leg drop from the top rope across the face of Windsor moments later.  But Windsor dug down deep and battled back with a leg drop of his own shortly after in this back and forth game of physical chess.  Seconds later, Copycat matched Windsor’s intensity with a steamroller out of nowhere followed by a Doppelganger.  When Windsor recovered he connected with a Black Hole Slam upping the ante of this match as both wrestlers continued to go move for move!  Before Windsor and Copycat could lock up once again, Striker and O’Malley returned to the ring to beat down Windsor some more which caused the ref to throw the match out.  Copycat convinced O’Malley and Striker to hold Windsor up so Copycat could add a haymaker of his own.  Except the haymaker was meant for Striker who Copycat leveled.  Copy and Windsor took turns beating down O’Malley next as the unlikely duo pushed back against the violence of Striker and O’Malley.

In the main event, #1 Contender “Bad” Brad Michaels (@OldSchool_Brad) wrestled “Larger Than Life” Jermaine Johnson.  This was a special match in and of itself as it was the first time these two legends ever faced each other in a singles match.  These two grappling scientists put on a great match for the fans of the Impact Arena and watching live around the world on GFL.tv.  The technical skill from each man was matched by the other as they went back and forth displaying a variety of different styles including chain wrestling, scientific wrestling, brawling and of course old school.  After a neck breaker and a kick to the head by Michaels, Johnson was able to turn the tide by tossing Michaels out of the ring.  On the outside, they scuffled along the guardrail with Johnson getting the better of the exchanges as he tossed Michaels into the steel steps.  Back in the ring, Johnson continued to hammer away at Michaels which included several unrestrained knife edge chops.  But The Old School Assassin was not to be outdone as he turned the tables and dished out a few chops of his own that almost made Johnson come out of his shoes.  In the move of the night, Johnson had Michaels up in a vertical suplex position but Michaels countered with a neck breaker as he came down towards the mat in a one-of-a-kind reversal of fortunes.  Johnson countered with a hot shot on the ropes then dumped Michaels stomach first across the top rope and drop kicked Michaels out of the ring. Once action resumed in the squared circle, Johnson hit a reverse atomic drop.  Michaels countered with a sunset flip pin attempt and when Johnson rose back to his feet he hit a crescent kick that dropped Michaels in a back and forth fast paced battle.  Johnson made a tactical error as he went for a springboard leg drop and missed while Michaels retaliated with an arm drag, hip toss, body slam and drop kick in successive order.  Johnson countered with a J-Effect, but Michaels kicked out at two!  Finally, Michaels connected with a superkick out of nowhere that put Johnson down for the 1-2-3.  After the match, Jordan Jacobs attacked Michaels but Michaels was putting a hurting on Jacobs until Johnny Z showed up and bashed Michaels in the head with the IZW Title.  Z connected with a second belt shot to Michaels’ face and looked for a Big Boot in the corner.  Then Double D rushed to the scene as Impact Elite bounced from the ring.  Finally, Randy Price came on stage and booked a tag team match for next week as it would be Michaels and D versus Johnson and Johnny Z!
